Innova inaugurates new facilities: more sustainable, more innovative, and with greater capacity for international growth

At Innova Group, we have reason to celebrate. This May, we officially inaugurated our new facilities in Almassora (Castellón), a new production center that represents a major step forward in our industrial capacity, our commitment to sustainability and innovation in packaging, and our international projection.

Located in the Vía Europa Industrial Park, the new facilities cover more than 11,000 m² and house both the production plant and the office and R&D areas. The space has been designed according to strict sustainability and efficiency criteria, consolidating the company’s exponential growth and helping us to meet the technological and industrial challenges of the future.

Certified sustainability: BREEAM certified facilities

One of the major milestones of this project is obtaining BREEAM® certification, one of the most prestigious sustainable building labels worldwide. The new facilities have more than 400 m² of solar panels for self-consumption, 1,500 m² of parking with charging points for electric vehicles, bicycle parking, and a garden with native plant species.

In addition, our 1,500 m² offices are equipped with smart energy management systems and have spaces dedicated to technical training and multidisciplinary meetings. All of this has been designed to provide an efficient and comfortable working environment that is aligned with our values of sustainability and innovation.

A new production center to continue growing

The new 5,000 m² production facility has been designed to house complete manufacturing and assembly lines for state-of-the-art machinery. This will enable us not only to increase our production capacity, but also to optimize processes, take on new projects, and continue developing increasingly advanced solutions tailored to the specific needs of our customers.

Constant evolution since our beginnings

Since our beginnings in 2001 as a small local company dedicated to machinery repair, Innova has experienced remarkable expansion. Today we are a comprehensive manufacturer of automated packaging systems for sectors as diverse as ceramics, chemicals, food, logistics, construction, and consumer goods, among others.

This growth has been accompanied by a solid internationalization strategy. Currently, more than 60% of our turnover comes from foreign markets, with a consolidated presence in countries such as Mexico, Brazil, the United States, and several regions of Europe, and with new opportunities that we are already exploring on other continents.

We look to the future with enthusiasm and commitment

The new facilities reaffirm Innova Group’s commitment to excellence, innovation, and sustainability. Sergio Llidó, co-founder and CEO of Innova Group, states: “These facilities symbolize not only the growth of our company, but also the constant work of the entire team to offer added value to our customers. They reflect our vision for the future, based on sustainability, technological innovation, and commitment to our environment.”

Javier Núñez, co-founder and CTO, adds: “For us, technological innovation is not just a line of work, it is our raison d’être. These new facilities will enable us to accelerate the development of more efficient, sustainable solutions tailored to the needs of the industry of the future. At Innova, we want to continue leading change and innovation in industrial packaging, bringing value from Castellón to the whole world.”

Innova Group would like to thank the entire team that has made this project possible, as well as our customers and partners for accompanying us on this exciting journey. With this new stage, Innova consolidates its position as one of the leading companies in industrial packaging solutions in Spain and an international leader in the Stretch Hood packaging system, ready to face the challenges of the future with ambition, responsibility, and an international outlook.
