Vignobles & Compagnie automates its end of line with Innova’s ring stretch wrapping system

Based in Castillon-du-Gard, France, Vignobles & Compagnie is a benchmark in the wine sector, specializing in the production and commercialization of high-quality wines exported to markets worldwide. This project, carried out together with Innova Group, included the installation of an automatic ring stretch wrapping system with a top sheet applicator, a key solution to ensure extra load protection.
Vignobles’ challenge: maximum protection for its products
Vignobles & Compagnie was looking for an advanced packaging solution to raise the standards of safety and efficiency in the transportation of its wine boxes. Glass bottles are extremely fragile loads, which meant the French company required a technology capable of guaranteeing absolute stability and superior protection throughout the entire logistics chain.
The challenge for Innova Group was to design a fully automated end of line capable of eliminating any vibration or movement of the wine boxes during transportation, while also protecting the load from possible impacts during handling. In addition, the solution needed to integrate seamlessly into the company’s production chain and provide a flawless final finish.

Automatic ring stretch wrapping system
The ring stretch wrapping system is the perfect solution for the wine company, as it combines protection, maximum stability, and load containment. First, the rotating ring provides greater load compactness and containment, while its advanced wrapping programming and up to 400% film pre-stretch system maximize film optimization. In addition, this wrapping system designed by Innova also incorporates a top sheet film applicator (cover) to provide extra protection against external agents.
Pallet conveyor system
The line is complemented by a conveyor system made up of an infeed station, a 90º pallet turner, and an outfeed line, ensuring a continuous production flow at the end of line.

The installation of this automatic stretch wrapping system has optimized Vignobles’ end of line, achieving maximum efficiency and superior product protection by combining stretch wrapping with top sheet application.
