1. Younexa, intelligent automation with a Stretch Hood Line
Younexa, a leading innovator in frits, glazes, colors and inks for the ceramic industry, took a qualitative leap in innovation and efficiency at its production plant in Vall d’Alba (Castellón), with a new Innova Group Stretch Hood packaging line specially designed for ceramic chemical compounds.

Challenge: Younexa needed an end-of-line solution that offered greater product protection and integrated with automated dosing, packaging, and conveying systems.

Solution: An intelligent, efficient, process-connected packaging line consisting of a pallet dispenser, a hydraulic baling press, and the Stretch Hood system.

Results: Younexa has achieved a faster, more efficient end-of-line that offers full product protection and a fully automated, seamless logistics flow.
2. IQE Group, Stretch Hood to protect high altitude chemical loads
The IQE Group, a European leader in inorganic chemistry, trusted Innova to carry out a completely customized project. It opted for Stretch Hood technology to protect the high altitude chemical loads of its main plant in Zaragoza, which serves more than 50 countries.

3. Esmalglass, Strecth Hood to protect double big bag pallets
Esmalglass, a world leader in frits, glazes and ceramic colors, opted for Innova’s Stretch Hood system to ensure the protection of its chemical loads in its Vila-real production center. This installation, carried out in 2019, meant an important qualitative leap in its end of line, especially for the export of palletized products such as big bags and sacks.

Challenge: Esmalglass needed to improve the protection of its loads. Its previous system, based on a rotating arm wrapping machine, did not offer total sealing and its products could be affected.

Solution: Innova installed a Stretch Hood system with special height for double big bag pallets, incorporating two film reels to adapt to different load formats.

Results: Esmalglass achieved total protection and sealing for its product, while also improving brand visibility and logistical traceability.

4. Gruppo Colorobbia, Stretch Hood to protect multiformat chemicals
Colorobbia, one of the world’s largest producers of frits and compounds, relied on Innova to unify its packaging lines in Spain. The installation of a Stretch Hood line at its plant in Vilafamés (Castellón), which led to a comprehensive improvement in the protection, presentation and sustainability of its final packaging, is worth mentioning.

Challenge: Colorobbia was looking to centralize its end-of-line packaging in a single automated packaging station that could handle a wide variety of formats.

Solution: Innova designed and installed a complete Stretch Hood packaging line with double reel, allowing sleeving to be adapted to multiple load sizes and formats.

Results: Colorobbia achieved high quality packaging in a single central station, optimizing resources, improving presentation, and ensuring total protection of its products.

5. Fritta, latest Stretch Hood packaging technology
Fritta is another leading company in the manufacture of frits, glazes and ceramic colors that joins the TOP of Innova’s packaging lines for its commitment to innovation and automation. The company, which belongs to the Altadia Group, incorporated the Stretch Hood system in its main plant in Onda to automate its end of line.

Challenge: Fritta needed to renew its semi-automatic packaging system and move towards full automation. In addition, it was looking for a solution that would offer total protection against external agents.

Solution: Innova designed a Stretch Hood packaging line with double reel to adapt to different load formats.

Results: Fritta has succeeded in automating its end-of-line, significantly improving product protection and significantly reducing film consumption.

6. ERCROS Group, pioneer in Stretch Hood to protect your loads
ERCROS Group was the first company in the chemical sector that opted for the Stretch Hood system to protect its loads, as early as 2015, when it incorporated this technology in its plant in Tortosa (Tarragona). Faced with the increase in its production, ERCROS decided to integrate Stretch Hood for the end of line of its different divisions of chlorine derivatives, intermediate chemicals and pharmaceuticals. From the ERCROS Group installations, we highlight the one carried out at its headquarters located in Almussafes (Valencia).

Challenge: ERCROS Group was looking to increase its packaging capacity, which up to now was 30 pallets/hour with heat shrink system.

Solution: Innova installed two Stretch Hood systems incorporating two film reels, to obtain greater versatility in sleeving and at the same time greater security and watertightness.

Results: ERCROS was able to double its packaging capacity to 60 pallets/hour thanks to the Stretch Hood. And not only did it gain speed, but it also managed to increase the safety of its loads, to be more efficient, and to have a better finish of its pallets.

7. Resirene (Grupo Kuo) pioneer of Stretch Hood for chemical in Mexico
The Mexican industrial benchmark is another pioneer in incorporating Stretch Hood technology in its end-of-line, in fact, it was Innova’s first installation in Mexico. Also in 2015, the company opted for the cold hood system to improve the production end of its Resirene chemical division.

Challenge: Kuo Group was looking to improve its end-of-line with a packaging solution that would guarantee savings in production costs, as well as stability and total protection for the load.

Solution: Innova installed a Stretch Hood system perfectly adapted to the characteristics and needs of the product and the plant.

Results: The Mexican company achieved significant savings in production costs and significantly improved the protection and stability of its chemical cargoes.
